The company name MAKU is inspired by the term ''MAKOUSAN'', a word of the Innu indigenous people, witch means ''the celebration where one dances and eats in abundance after a successful hunt and harvest.''

MAKU's vision is to share passions and values through our products.

The quality of our products is proven to last. All our products are handcrafted in the Laurentians region of Quebec since 2014.
